Hiking Stonepine’s beautiful hills and mountains yields some amazing views and great cardio. Call ahead to have lunch ready for you next to the river valley or a top of the 50 acres of ridge line that surround Stonepine’s southern border.
Mountain bikes are available at the Estate for the miles of wooded trails on the grounds of Stonepine. An alternative is to take a road bike into historic Carmel Valley Village with its antique shops, artisan studios, and quaint restaurants. For longer rides, there is an eleven-mile bike lane all the way from the Village to Highway 1. From there, head south to Big Sur and north to Carmel-by- the-Sea and Pebble Beach’s 17 mile drive.
