Chateau Noel

This private residence was the original manor house for the Crocker Bank family since its inception in the late 1920s. It includes eight bedrooms, many with fireplaces, and extensive public areas. Its formal living room features a three-span limestone fireplace built by European artisans during the house's two-year construction period. There is a formal 30-seat dining room with burnished cherry wood paneling dating back to the 19th Century. The entry foyer and library as well as the loggia terrace feature unique fireplaces of Italian design. A newly added media room adjacent to the wine cellar provides a particularly romantic opportunity for intimate wine tasting and dining.

The centerpiece of the Inn at Stonepine, Chateau Noel, the former manor house of the Crocker Banking Family, was renamed in the 1980s by Gordon and Noel Hentschel as part of their renovation of the entire estate. This magnificent Mediterranean-style villa is surrounded by twelve formal gardens, a four-hole practice golf course complete with waterfalls, and a Provence-inspired reflection pond gracing its oak lawns at the gated entrance.
